Problem Summary: Internet Security will not let me download anything, says its a virus

I am not able to download or open most all files, due to this internet security that keeps telling me, everything is a virus. I can work in safe mode on the internet, but still cannot download anything. I have also tried to manally remove it, with no success. It says it some kind of w32 worm. blaster.

Malwarebytes detected 9 threats and I removed them, but problem persists. Cannot download anything!!!

hi. when ever i try to run anything as administrator my computer comes up with usual box with a yes or no to make changes to computer but the yes is blocked out. i am the only one account on the computer but by my stupidity am only a standard user. how can i change this or reactive the admin account. I scanned my computer with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 5 times yesterday, because a box kept popping up, and after I scanned, the box still kept popping up. On the very top of the box in blue said, "Symantec AntiVirus Detection Results," and there were rows that had the date and time of THAT SAME DAY, a risk section saying "Trojan.Gen.2" or "Trojan.zeroacc..." and other virus names, and an action thing saying "quarantined, log only, or pending analysis." On the top of the box there was a yellow triangle with a explanation mark saying, "Auto-Protect has acted on the risks." I don't know what that means. Here is what one row looked like. Sometimes, rows kept being added on and deleted, and had either a x or a check.

Problem Summary: Constant pop ups saying multiple threat detection

When I start my computer I get multiple pop ups saying threat detected or multiple threat detection.

Under threat detection I am given the options of Move to Vault or Allow. I can constantly keep moving to vault but the pop ups continue.

If I leave it for a while. The multiple threat detection pop up appears.

Problem Summary: FakeAlert-Rena - help me get rid of it

I'm writing this from my desktop computer because i'm unable to do anything on my laptop. McAfee detected a trojan called "FakeAlert-Rena!mem" The clean failed. I found the location of the file and was able to delete sgw.exe after killing the process from task manager but my computer still doesn't seem to be working properly. Now when i try to open a program, it gives me the popup that asks what application I want to use with it. Please help!

Last night I was on a jewelry forum and clicked on a posted photo so I could enlarge it and see it better. At that time another window popped up, I closed it right away so I don’t know what it was, but then AVG (free version) popped up and said there were two trojans I could either allow access or quarantine. I quarantined them. I also had another window pop up and tell me to save and close what I was working on so it wouldn’t get lost. I only had the internet browser (Firefox) open. I few minutes later I went to ebay and it wouldn’t connect to the server. I closed Firefox and tried to reopen it, but it wouldn’t work. When I click on both the Firefox desktop icon or the Explorer desktop icon, I get a message to either run or save like it wants to download, but neither saving or running works. When I click on the Firefox desktop icon, it keeps happening and no internet. I ran AVG free virus scan and it says I don’t have any viruses or Trojans like my system is clean. What happened and how can I fix it?

I was on my laptop and then suddenly a screen popped up telling me I had to run a scan with x amount of threats and that I needed to buy protection etc. The threats included all kinds of "trojan" viruses as well as even "child porn". I put the FakeAlert Removal Tool onto a USB drive and tried to run it on my laptop but it would not open. None of my programs are able to open as I have no internet connection even though my wireless is working perfectly fine. I am a university student and that is my school laptop, I am in desperate need to have it fixed.

Problem Summary: Tracking Cookies, Etc.

I have had AVG for going on 2 years now and never had any kind of problems and my current laptop is not even a year old and recently I've been having all kind of problems. For one, I am getting a lot of AVG Resident Shield Alerts popping up onto my screen telling me I have multiple threat detection, naming them but when I right click on them, only gives me the options of add to exceptions or go to file. I find all of this very strange considering I do full computer scans and I do mean everything every single day. Example: I scanned not even an hour ago and everything was either healed or moved to virus vault which I never know if I empty or not, 5 minutes later, the Resident Shield Alert came up. Another serious concern I have is my computer screen is always turning white out of the blue and I have to turn my laptop OFF and restart it, sometimes it will come back and many times it will come back still white screen. I have NO idea what is going on but I know it is really and truly upsetting me.
