Whats happened is: I downloaded 'Qtrax Player' or something to get a certain theme on Tumblr but it didn't work. The next day I was starting to see ads on all my social networking sites like Facebook, Tumblr, and even sites like BBC iPlayer. So all these ads were popping up where they weren't usually ( or they didn't use to ) and then underneath ALL of them (the pop-ups and ads) it would say, 'ads not by this site' and since it had only started since I downloaded this software, I figured that HAD to be the cause. Even on BBC iPlayer, where it gives a short description on what you are about to watch, some of the words are highlighted and underlined in usually green and when you hover over the word it would pop up with a box which if the word highlighted was 'drama' say then it would say something along the lines of 'Looking for Drama? Find What You Need. Look For Drama Here Now. MonsterMarketplace.com. Click Here' And this really irritates me! Furthermore, the second part is that my search has always been Google. Google is my favourite search, I am used to it and i like it. Now that all this commotion has gone on, my search is permanently on "Delta Search" which I don't like and am not comfortable with. By permanently I mean I have gone to my settings, changed my search to Google only, saved it and refreshed the page and it is then on Delta Search STILL. I'll afterwards go on settings again and I will see that my changes were not fully applied and they are never fully applied, because whenever I change it and save it, it stays on Delta Search, despite my greatest intentions. Also every one in four times I click on something or open a new tab, another window pops up, usually having the word 'Babylon' somewhere in the name of the link. I repeatedly have to delete them and go back to what I was doing before, having being stopped! Please help me! For example, I have received one link a fair few times, in-fact, when writing this note it popped up and it says 'Spyware detected, click her to remove spyware'. This is all such nonsense. I want it all the go, please! Thankyou.

When I enter both my Yahoo accounts, babylon 'jumps' in and my computer goes out of my yahoo account into babylon before I can even log out .... it takes a while for me to even log out.
I also cannot read any email for the same reason. babylon takes over before I am able to even read the first sentence.

Downloaded Babylon for translation some time ago subsequently discovered that each time I started the internet with Google Chrome it was overridden by Babylon's search engine complete with adverts. Tried deleting in the usual manner but still comes before Chrome when start up is attempted. Any ideas? John.

in my add/remove programs part of my contrl panel the word babylon does not even appear - all the info say go to control panel - go to add/remove programs and where it says babylon click remove! but if it doesn't show how do i know where it is???? i have tried various means but it shows up as babylon search and toolbar and brings up stupid distracting jumping envelopes for gambling etc - help!!!!!!!

when running your B.client remover, I get a long list of files to remove. in about 200 enries. A lot dll files also )f.i. mfc90.dll mfcm90 mfcm90u etc etc. When googeling these dll's seems to have nothing to do with babilon. I am afraid destroying my system. please advice me.

Problem Summary: Cannot Remove Babylon Virus From Google Chrome Browser

Hello, today I was fooled into downloading the download manager which contained the "Babylon" virus. After figuring this out, I have uninstalled every place that the "Babylon" virus appears on my computer. I have also tried to go to settings in Google Chrome to remove the "Babylon" search as my search engine. There is no way for me to access the settings in Chrome because the Babylon virus won't let me access the web on Windows. I am using Express Gate operating system and internet is fine. I also have Internet Explorer and cannot access the web there either because of the "Babylon" virus. Since I cannot access the net to change the settings in Chrome, how can I get rid of the virus?
