I removed soundmax and now I don't have sound or volume. I try to download different programs but it didnt work. I even try to download Soundmax but still does not work. can you please help me with my problem.

Open a wav file get this message "unable to play back audio. No sound device detected on your computer." Device Manager says device is working properly. I get the window sounds.

FYI I did load the latest driver for SoundMax and lost all sound.
