Every time I start up my Windows 7 Dell laptop, I seem to get a pop up window titled:"IMGSTART.EXE - Entry Point Not Found"

It's description is always the same: "The procedure entry point GetFileVersionInfoSizeA could not be located in the dynamic link library VERSION.dll" I always get two window pop ups of the same window but with the second being the title: "Imgicon.exe - Entry Point Not Found"

I have been getting entry point errors everytime I start my computor and sometimes it makes it so it will not start. "Desktop.exe Entry Point not found" "The procedure entry point $doloctlDirect@ioready@@QAE_NPUIloctCmdStructdefin@2@@Zcould not be located in the dynamic link library ioReady.dll. These just started in the last week and all my restore points disapeared. Restore got turned off when I reinstalled Windows 7. The computor is running great if I could just get rid of these errors. The problem started after I brought a scan disk card reader ( for cammera and other cards) and installed some Iomega software. Later got message that sofware had problems with windows XP ( incompaitbility or software gliches), and dowloaded a patch, but they said it might not solve all the problems. to sovle the further software glit they said one might have to run in safe mode to tell Ioaega or microsft about the problem. Every time I boot up I get the message "imgstart has encournted a problem and needs to close" Tell microsoft about this problem." I do. Nothting helps. Recently the computer is also rebooting the middle of sessions by itself (a blue screens flashes for a second but I cannot read it--its too fast). I'm think I'getting some other incopatiblity software problems also. I do have Norton antivirus and Norton Security on my system and scan for virsues, troganss ,etc. weekly as well as have it running all the time in background.
