Problem Summary: Can't get rid of virus
About a week ago i started to get this request for update from what appeared to be Microsoft Security. At first I didn't let it, but eventually i let it download.
Now i get an error messege and then a file download window, even though i hit cancel it downloads and right away opens three spam windows in Internet Explore. I close them and open the Task Maneger and close the apllecations from the processes. there are 4 things to close:
setupv.exe
setupv.exe
setup.exe
setup.exe
I tracked them to:
C:\Users\Shai\AppData\Local\Temp
and found at least 3 suspicious items:
IDM.exe
setup.exe
setupv.exe
Since then it keeps coming back and I can't get rid of it... I would really appreciate if you could help me sol
