It said I installed smart shopper and gave it permission to post ads EVERYWHERE...but I didn't. The ads show up on top of everything, there are so many ads sometimes i cant see what's on my web page. The video ads play right over my music I try to listen to and the two sounds clash together. I just want all of these ridiculous amounts of ads to go away. I got a new laptop in August of 2013. It's a Dell Inspiron 15 with Windows 8. The old laptop I used before had a lot of junk on it. What I mean by that is that I was dumb and downloaded all kinds of bad stuff onto my computer. Somehow I never downloaded any viruses but it did affect my computer. Since I've got this new one I've been more careful about what I download. I never download any of those things that are supposed to keep away viruses, clean up my computer or make my internet faster. Maybe a month or two after I got the new laptop I started getting pop ups in the background of my google chrome page and smart shopper ads. What would happen was I would hear a commercial playing in the background and on the far right side of the search bar on google chrome there would be a rectangle with a red x saying a pop was recently blocked. It would block the pop up from appearing but not from playing. I had a friend who had the same problem except hid ads were very inappropriate. I never had that problem until today when a woman wearing only a bra appeared on my computer. I really want to get rid of this because my parents might get mad if they see that on my laptop even though it's not my fault. What do I do? I've deleted everything I've ever downloaded onto the computer but the smart shopper ads are still there. Help! :(
